Al Ackland

Ackland was an offensive end who started with Winnipeg in 1961.  He played two games for the Bombers before being released when the Bombers obtained Baz Nagle from the BC Lions.  Nagle tried out again with the Bombers in 1962, but didn't make the team.  Ackland ended up taking the Bombers to court when territorial rights prevented him from joining another team. In 1963, Ackland ended up in Edmonton, but generated no statistics.
