Gary Anderson (b)

Anderson was drafted in the first round of the college draft by both the San Diego Chargers of the NFL and the New Jersey Generals of the USFL in 1983.  He signed with the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL in 1984 and then joined San Diego in 1985.  Anderson played in the NFL from 1985 to 1993 with San Diego, Tampa Bay and Detroit.  After not playing in 1994, Andeson signed with the CFL expansion Memphis Mad Dogs in April of 1995.  Afte the folding of the US based teams, Andeson was selected in the 12th round of the dispersal draft by the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  Saskatchewan released Anderson in May of 1996, prior to the start of the 1996 season.
