Michael Botterill

Michael Botterill was a sixth round draft pick out of McMaster in the 2003 CFL college draft by the Montreal Alouettes. Botterill saw action mainly as a backup lonebacker and on special teams in his three seasons with the Als from 2003-2005. Early in the 2006 season, Botterill was traded to Edmonton for a third round draft pick. Botterill remained with Edmonton through the 2007 season and was then traded to Hamilton along with defensive back Chris Thompson for receiver Brock Ralph in February, 2008. After one season with the Tiger-Cats, Botterill joined the Calgary Stampeders for 2009, but played only one game with the Stamps.
