Frank Fraser was a Montreal product and initially the product of the Alouettes. Montreal gave Ottawa permission to give him a try out in September of 1956 and Faster ended up sticking and playin three years with the Ottawa Rough Riders (1956-58) at running back and defensive back. Fraser was traded to Saskatchewan in March of 1959 as part of a five for one blockbuster deal that sent Frank Tripucka to the Ottawa Rough Riders from the Green Riders. Fraser played two seasons with Saskatchewan (1959-60) and was then reaquired by Ottawa in 1961, but then sold to Winnpeg in August of that year. Frser played one game with the Bombers in 1961 before a knee injury finished him for the year. Fraser tried out again in 1962, didn't catch on. Fraser did return to play 5 games in 1963, seeing action mainly as a punt returner. Fraser was a running back, but his best year offensively came in 1960 with Saskatchewan when he caught 22 passes for 360 yards while rushing for another 157. Fraser was also handy on kickoff and punt returns. Fraser's 419 yards on kickoff returns in 1959 for Saskatchewan was third best in the West that year.
