David Harper

Harper was an 11th round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 1990 and played 6 games for them that season.  After his release from Dallas, Harper was signed as a free agent by the Sacremento goldminers in May of 1994.  When the franchise moved to San Antonio in 1995, Harper became a regular and had 66 defensive tackles and 7 sacks on route to a Southern All-Sar honour.  With the folding of the U.S. based teams, Harper became a free agent and was signed by the Ottawa Rough Riders, but only played 2 games for them in 1996.  With the folding of the Ottawa franchise, Harper was drafted in the fifth round of the dispersal draft by Montreal, but was released prior to the start of the 1997 season.
