Ed Meadows

Ed Meadows played his college football at Duke and was a third round draft pick of the Chicago Bears in 1954.  Meadows was a defensive end who played six seasons in the NFL, from 1954 to 1959, with Chicago, Pittsburgh and Washington.  While with Chicago in 1956, Meadows was involved in a controversial hit that against Detroit's Bobby Layne.  Meadows played three games with Montreal in 1961.  Ed Meadows passed away on October 22, 1974.
