Jarrett Payton is the son of former HOF Chicago Bear star running back, Walter (Sweetness) Payton. Jarrett signed with Montreal in February of 2007 as a free agent, and had a good rookie season with 852 yards in 13 games - only an injury keeping him from hitting the thousand yard mark. In 2008, an injury hampered Payton during the pre-season, causing him to lose his starting job to Avon Cobourne, and then being released. Payton returned to the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts in 2009.
