Signed as a free agent by the Toronto Argonauts and played 5 games for them in 1985 before being released in September of that year. Rybansky signed with Hamilton and did not play any regular season games for them, but played in the East Final and in the 1985 Grey Cup for Hamilton. Unfortunately, the Tiger-Cats lost the Grey Cup that year to BC 37-24 in Montreal's Big O.
