Mike Stowell was a center out of the University of Tennessee. Stowell signed with the expansion Shreveport Pirates in April of 1994, and played two seasons with the Pirates. After the folding of the American teams, Stowell was darafted in the 15th round of the disperseal draft by th Saskatchewan Roughriders, but released before th 1996 training camp.
