Bobby Walden

Walden was a punter and running back out of Georgia who played for Edmonton from 1961-1963, and then one game with Hamilton in 1963.  Walden was a decent running, back, a good receiver and and an excellent punter.  He averaged 46.8 yards a punt in 1961 and then upped that to 48.6 in 1962.  After leaving the CFL, Walden joined the PIttsburg Steelers from 1964 to 1977 where he played on two Super Bowl winning teams and lead the NFL in punting in 1964 with a 46.4 yard average.  Walden was also selected for the Pro Bowl in 1969.
