David (Sneaky) Adams

David Adams was a lineman who started his snior / professional career with the short lived Vancouver Grizzlies in 1941. Adams server his country in the Canadian Army during World War II before returning to civilian life and football. Adams played three seasons for the /calgary Stampeders (1946-48), winning a West All-Star in both 1946 and 1947 (there wre no CFL Al-Stars until 1964). Adams won aGrey Cup with the Stampeder team that went undefeated in 1948. That was the year that Stampfans brought thehorse into the Royal York hotel in Toronto during Grey Cupfestivitiesandreally turned the Grey Cup into a national party.

David adams passed away on November 21, 2011.
