John Blaicher

A native of Hamilton, Blaicher played seven years for Montreal as a defensive back and running back from 1953 to 1959.  No official stats were kept in Blaicher's rookie year in 1953, but in his second year, Blaicher recorded 4 interceptions.  Those 4 interceptions were a career high for Blaicher who finished with 9 career interceptions.  Besides playing defensive back and filling in at running back, Blaicher also handled some kickoff duties for the Alouettes.  John Blaicher passed away on March 13, 2006.
