Marcus Brady played his college ball at the University of California - Northridge. Brady's original CFL rights were held by Winnipeg, but they traded them to Toronto in September, 2002 for a third round draft pick in the college draft. Shortly after that, Brady signed as a free agent with the Argonauts. After two seasons as a backup quarterback in Toronto, Brady was traded to Hamilton along with Tawabi Settles for offensive lineman Mike Mihilic and future considerations. After two seasons in the Steel City, Brady became a free agent and signed with the Montreal Alouettes. Brady served as the backup to Anthony Calvillo for three seasons (2006-08). Brady's best season was 2007 as he filled in for Calvillo and threw for 1161 yards. Immediatly following the end of his playing career, Brady became an assistant coach with the Alouettes.
