George Brown

George Brown was a guard / tackle out of Texas Christian who was drafted in the 8th round by Pittsburgh in 1949. Brown ended up playing two seasons fo rthe New York Yankees (the football team) in 1949 and 1950. In 1951, Brown came to Canada and would play 12 games for the Eskimos in 1951. Brown returned to the CFL three years late rto play two games with the expansion Vancouver (now BC) Lions.

George Brown passed away on January 21,  2013 at the age of 89.
