Eric Crouch

After attending Nebraska University where he won the Heisman Trophy as the top college player in the U.S. in 2001, Crouch was drafterd by St. Louis in the third round of the 2002 NFL college draft. The Rams figured Crouch was too small to play quarterback in he NFL and intended to play him at wide receiver.  Crouch was injured, however, and never played any regular season games for them. Crouch got another chance in the NFL with Kansas City in 2005, but was allocated to Hamburg in NFL Europe.

Crouch joined the Toronto Argonauts, signing as a free agent with them in February of 2006. Crouch dressed for seven games with the boatmen, seeing limited action as a backup quarterback. Ater his release by the Argonauts, Crouch joined Omaha of the Arena Football League.
