Lonnie Dennis

Lonnie Dennis played his college ball in the States at Brigham Young.  Dennis was a seventh round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL in 1960, but opted to join the BC (then Vancouver) Lions in 1960.  Dennis played 9 years with the Lions from 1960 to 1968.  Dennis won three West All-Stars (1962, 1963 and 1964) and two CFL All-Stars (1963 and 1964) at Offensive Tackle.  Dennis was part of the first Lions team to win a Grey Cup in 1964.  Dennis is a member of the BC Wall of Fame.
