Coming out of Redlands University,in California, Brian DeRoo played three seasons in the NFL for the Baltimore Colts from 1979-81. Deroo joined the Alouettes in 1982 and had 34 catches for 650 yards in just six games. Over a full season, that would have worked out to over a 100 catches and nearly 2000 yards. Deroo played two more seasons in Montreal (1983-84), but didn't put up really big numbers mainly because of injuries that hobbled him for parts of both seasons. Deroo played just 8 games in 183 and 10 in 1984 while playing out his option.
