Ralph Dixon

Dixon had a tryout with the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL in 1981 before coming north to sign with Edmonton in 1982.  Dixon saw limited action in his two and a half years in Edmonton (1982-84) and in fact missed the entire 1983 season with injuries.  In September, 1984, Dixon was traded to Toronto for DB Paul Bennett.  Ottawa picked up Dixon on waivers and got a chance to play in 1985, responding with a good season.  Dixon had three interceptions, three fumble recoveries and two sacks for the Rough Riders in 1985.
