Bill Glosson

Bill Glosson played his highschool football in Philadelphia and then went on to play college ball at Texas Southern. Glosson was a star receiver with Texas Southern, being name to Southwestern Conference All-Star team in 1956, 1957 and 1958. Glosson was also an All-american in 1957 and 1958. with credits like that, it is no surprise that Glosson was elected to the Texas Southern Sports Hall of Fame in 1977.

Glosson joined the Montreal Alouet tes in 1959, playing eight games as an offensive end with 14 catches. From the Alouettes, Glosson returned to the States where he started a coaching career as an assistasnt at Texas Southern from 1961 to 1967. Glosson then spent two years (1968-69) as the head coach at Mississippi Valley State and then returned to Texas Southern as first assistant athleticd director and then as athletic diector.Besides coaching football, Glosson also coached the TSU golf team.
