Jerry Griffin

Jerry Griffin was a very good middle linebacker for Edmonton from 1967 to 1973, finishing his career in 1973 with Saskatchewan.  The only problem with Jerry Griffin was that he played at the same time as Wayne Harris in Calgary, and Harris sopped up all the attention and All-Stars. Playing in a time where there were no tackle or sack stats kept, Griffin piled up 14 career interceptions including 5 in one year (1971() and 13 career fumble recoveries.
