Robert Hardy had a tryout as a free agent with Tampa Bay of he NFL in 1991, but was released after training camp. Edmonton signed Hardy for the 1992 season, and he dressed for three games. Prior to the start of the 1993 season, Edmonton traded Hardy to the expansion Sacremento Goldminers for future considerations. Hardy played three games in Sacrmento, before being released in August of 1993.
