Wayne Jr. was the son of a CFL Hall of Famer and former Stampeder Wayne Harris. In sports, it is often the case where the children of super stars who try to follow in their parent's footsteps fail to match the accomplishments of their parents. Ken Griffey Jr. and Barry Bonds being obvious exceptions. Wayne Harris Jr. played only one season for Calgary and recorded no other statistics though tackle stats were not kep in 1982.
