Leonard Johnson

Johnson was a free agent signing by the San Diego Chargers of the NFL in 1989, and released after training camp.  He signed with the Ottawa Rough Riders in December 1990, but was traded to the ARgos in March of 1991 along with Brian Warren for QB John Congemi. Johnson played two season (1991-92) with Toronto before being part of the massive trade with Edmonton that brought QB Tracy Ham to the Argos.  Johnson played one season n Edmonton, and was released in July of 1994.  The Ottawa Rough Riders signed him for the 1994 season, and he played 7 games for them before being traded to the expansion Los Vegas Posse for future considerations.  Afte the Posse folded, Johnson was a second round pick by Winnipeg in the dispersal draft.  The Blue Bombers released Johnson on October 7, 1995.
