Riall Johnson

Riall Johnson was born in Whiterock, BC and went on to play his college football at Stanford in the States.  In 2001, Johnson was a sixth round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL, and played 32 games for them from 2001 to 2003.  Johnson signed with Toronto as a free agent in May of 2005 and spent four seasons (2005-08) with the Argos.  Johnson's best year with the Argos was 2007 when he recorded 10 quarterback sacks.  Johnson was traded to Winnipeg for the 2009 season in a deal that saw linebacker Zeke Moreno and a conditional draft pick go to the Argos.  In September,2009, Johnson was traded again, this time going to Montreal along with Shawn Mayne for quarterback Ricky Santos.  Johnson unfortunately ran into injury problems with Montreal and played in only three games.  Montreal released Johnson in January of 2010.  Johnson's younger brother Teyo Johsnon is a fullback / tight end with Calgary.
