John O'Leary was another one of those good running backs out of Nebraska. While he didn't have a thousand yard season, O'Leary had three quite productive years with the Montreal Alouettes from 1977 to 1979, both running and catching the ball out of the backfield. O"Leary rushed for over 2000 yards in those three seasons and over 1000 yards receiving with 17 touchdowns.
