Reggie Rogers

Reggie Rogers was an All-American at the University of Washington where he played from 1985 to 1987. Rogers was a first round draft pick of the Detroit Lions in the 1987 NFL college draft. Things fell apat for Rogers in October of 1988 hwne he was convicted of A DUI in which three teenagers were killed. Rogers spent a year in jail and was dropped by the Lions. After that Rogers had brief stins with the Buffalo Bills and the Tampa Bay Bucaneers..

Rogers signed as a free agent with Hamilton in April of 1993. Rogers got into only four games that year, but still recorded four quarterback sacks from his defensive end position.  In 12 games in 1994, Rogers rang up another nine quarterback sacks, but was picked up on waivers by the Shreveport Pirates. Rogers didn't play for Shreveport in 1994, but played 17 games in 1995 and had 5 quarterback sacks to raise his career total to 18.

Rogers continued to have problems with the law after his football career was over with several assault charges.  Rogers was sentened  to another year in jail in 2011 after his sixth DUI charge.
