Alphonso Roundtree was a speedy cornerback out of Tulane. Roundtree had a tryout as an undrafted free agent with Tampa Bay of the NFL before coming to the CFL and signing with Montreal in April of 2000. Roundtree remained with the Als for 2001 and was released prior to the 2002 season. Roundtree signed asa free agent with Toronto, but remained there only one game. Roundtree finished the 2002 season with the expansion Ottawa Renegades where he recorded a career high four interceptions. After the 2002 season, Roundtree signed with the Miami Dolphins of the NFL for 2003, but eventually returned to the CFL for one final season with Hamilton in 2005.
