Orlando (Ollie) Segatore

Ollie Segatore was born in Montreal in 1923.  A lineman, going both ways in those days at tackle and guard, (inside and middle in the rterminology of the day), Segatore.  Segatore played five seasons for the Montreal Alouettes from 1946 (the first season for the Als) until 1951.  Segatore didn't play in 1950 in a contract discpute with Montreal GM Lew Hayman.  Segatore was with the Alouettes when they won the Grey Cup in 1949.  Ollie's older brother Louis (Slug) Segatore played for various Montreal teams in the 1930s and 1940s and also won a Grey Cup with the Montreal Navy team in 1944..
