Bruce Taylor

Bruce Taylor played at Boston University and was a first round draft pick in 1970 of the San Franciso 49ers.  Taylor played eight years in the NFL from 1970 to 1978 with San Francisco, and played in the Pro Bowl in 1971.  In 1978, the Montreal Alouettes lost star cornerback Dickie Harris to an injury late in the season, and they reached out to Taylor to replace him.  Taylor did not play any regualr season games, but played in the East Final against Ottawa and in the 1978 Grey Cup which Montreal lost to Edmonton. Taylor was elected to the American college Footall Hall of Fame in 1997.
