After a college career at Simon Fraser, Mike Vilimek was a first round draft pick of the Ottawa Renegades in the 2002 CFL College Draft. Vilimek went on to have a solid six year career with Ottawa and Montreal as a blocking fullback and special teams player. After three years with Ottawa, Vilimek signed as a free agent with the Montreal Alouettes. With the Als, Vilimek had his best year offensively in 2005 with 34 carries for 124 yards and five rushing touchdowns.
