Wiltshire was a hard hitting Canadian out of James Maddison who split his time in the CFL at linebacker and safety. Wiltshire played 10 seasons in the CFL, spending time with Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Edmonton. Wiltshire was a first round draft pick (second overall) of tghe Argos in 1996 and joined Torotno for the 1997 season after first trying out as a free agent with Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL..Wiltshire played mainly special teams in his rookie season, but did record 24 defensive tackles to go with his 13 special t eams tackles. Wiltshire continued to be used on special t eams, but also took over as a starter in 1998, recording 75 defensive tackles. Wiltshire was named to the East All-Star team in 1998. After upping his tacklews to 78 in 1999, Wiltshire became a free agent and left Toronto to sign with the Montreal Alouttes where he played two seasons (2000-2001). Wiltshire was then drafted by the expansion Ottawa Renegades and played three seasons for them, picking up his second East All-Star honour in 2002. In his three seasons in Ottawa, Wiltshire had 86, 79 and 76 tackles. After the Renegades folded, Wiltshire joined Edmonton and played three seasons with the Esks. Wiltshire finished his CFL career with 25 quarterback sacks, 15 pass interceptions and 15 fumble recoveries.
