The Ottawa Football Club (Ottawa F.C.) was formed on September 20 at the Russell House.  Ottawa F.C. adopted the colours of cerise, French navy Grey and blue.  The first game for Ottawa F.C. was against the Alymer Club at the Jacques Cartier Square on September 23.  The game was won by Ottawa F.C. on a kick by Percy Sherwood.  Sherwood would go on to become Colonel and then Sir Percy Sherwood and was the Commisioner of the Dominion Police (later absored into the RCMP).
