Calgary 39, BRIT COL 34 (24722) - Lions QB Doug Flutie had a sensational
opener. He completed 27 of 44 passes for 430 yards and three TDs, but he also threw two interceptions, Including one in the fourth quarter,
Toronto 35, OTTAWA 18 (23254) - Raghib (Rocket) Ismail held a press conference and paced the sidelines with co-owners Bruce McNall and John Candy, while the Argos beat the Riders for the 14th straight time.

Edmonton 34, SASKATCHEWAN 25 (20582) - Edmonton's Tracy Ham threw
two TD passes and the running game added one more on the ground. The Riders scored only one TD, but kicked enough FGs to keep the game close.

Winnipeg 23, HAMILTON 9 (13945) - K Trevor Kennerd booted five FGs and a convert and the Winnipeg defence picked off five passes as the Bombers made rookie coach Darryl Rogers' CFL debul a winning one.

TD of the game with 30 seconds left to lift the Eskimos after the Rough Riders had roared back with a 17-point fourth quarter.

TORONTO 41, Hamilton 18 (41178) - Raghib "Rocket" Ismail made his
play-for-pay debut with the Argos, contributing 213 yards in total offense, including 73 yards after a handoff on a punt return.
CALGARY 48, Saskatchewan 28 (22055) - Calgary's special teams struck tor two early TDs and the ottence kept things rolling in the second half, scoring 27 points.

British Col 26, WINNIPEG 23 (OT) (26862) - The winning points came on the final play of overtime when Lui Passaglia kicked a 34-yard FG. The kick was set up when Winnipeg's Troy Johnson fumbled a Passaglia punt.

THURSDAY JULY 25
TORONTO 30, Winnipeg 16 (37486) - The Bombers were guilty of 10 turnovers while the Argos turned the ball over just twice. Winnipeg had 458 net yards compared with Toronto's 275.
BRIT COL 37, Edmonton 36 (31747) - Doug Flutie directed BC to 30 second-half points and Lui Passaglla kicked a 34-yard FG late in the game to give the Lions an upsnt victory. Flutie threw for 372 yards and two TDs.

SASKATCHEWAN 52, Hamilton 16 (19381) - Saskatchewan handed Hamilton a drubbing, as QB Rick Worman passed for three touchdowns and ran tor two more himself.

BRIT COL 52, Toronto 41 (OT) (53527) - The Lions finally endured over the Argos in a game that look almost four hours to play and went into OT until B.C. emerged with a win before the largest crowd at B.C. Place in five years.

Calgary 21, HAMILTON 11 (11902) - Mark Guy came back to haunt the Ti-Cats, as his 15-yard TD reception at 2:37 of the 4th broke an 11-11 tie. Two years ago it was his catch that set up Dave Ridgway's winning Grey Cup FG.
WINNIPEG 26, Ottawa 19 (OT) (24743) - Ottawa had a chance to tie the game late when it took over at its own 42-yard line with just under two minutes remaining, but CB Rod Hill intercepted a Damon Allen pass.

Bombers catching 11 passes for 180 yards and two TDs, but the Riders had control of the game from the outset and at one point held a 26-point bulge.
CALGARY 34, Brit Col 30 (OT) (31159) - Andy McVey scored his second TD of the night, a 14-yard run in the second overtime, to give the Stampeders their fifth straight win.

Toronto 37, SASKATCHEWAN 35 (27093) - Argos quarterback Rickey Foggie
ran for one touchdown, and Toronto RBs added two more, but much of the Argos' scoring came from the five FGs of placekicker Lance Chomyc.
SATURDAY AUGUST 10
Edmonton 38, HAMILTON 13 (15107) - QB Tracy Ham threw three TD passes and K Ray Macoritti had 20 points to lead the Eskimos. The loss leaves Hamilton last in the East and ties the team with its worst-ever start.

OTTAWA 36, Edmonton 35 (25884) - Reggie Barnes ran for three TDs and more than 180 yards to lead the Riders to a last-minute win. Barnes' made all three majors in the fourth, his last a one-yarder with 56 seconds to go..

touchdown pass total to 21 with five tosses for major scores.
Brit Col 50, SASKATCHEWAN 47 (21434) - Lions QB Doug Flutie hit WR Ray Alexander with the winning TD with eight seconds to go. Flutie passed for 465 yards and five TDs. The Riders fired coach Don Matthews afterwards.
THURSDAY AUGUST 22
Winnipeg 39, CALGARY 26 (27011) - Late in the third quarter, Less Browne intercepted Danny Barrett and returned the ball to the Stamps 13. Two plays later, QB Tom Burgess tossed a 13-yard TD to Eric Streater for the lead.
SATURDAY AUGUST 24
Ottawa 24, HAMILTON 19 (11027) - A 1-yard TD run by Reggie Barnes in the fourth lifted the Riders, as they rallied from an 18-13 deficit to give coach Joe Faragalli his third win in three games since taking over from Steve Goldman.

TORONTO 34, British Col 25 (39508) - With QB Matt Dunigan throwing just 16 passes and with RB Pinball Clemons injured early, the Argos made a 21-point first-quarter stand up and rushed for a season-high 213 yards
WINNIPEG 28, Calgary 15 (29102) - Bomber RB Robert Mimbs had another stellar outing, rushing for 152 yards on 22 carries. Winnipeg's defensive unit limited Calgary to 338 yards offence, with four interceptions and six sacks.

Saskatchewan 44, EDMONTON 41 (26825) - Dave Ridgway kicked a 35-yard FG, his fifth of the game, with nine seconds left to give the Riders the win. Two fumbles by Eskimos QB Tracy Ham in the fourth sparked the Rider rally.
THURSDAY AUGUST 29
OTTAWA 38, Hamilton 14 (24532) - QB Damon Allen threw three TD passes, as the Riders drubbed the winless Tiger-Cats. RB Reggie Barnes scored from two yards out for the other Ottawa TD. K Terry Baker hit three FGs.
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 1
SASKATCHEWAN 56, Winnipeg 23 (30314) - The game resorted to a slugfest, and for the second straight game, Winnipeg had a pair of players ejected. The Bombers were penalized 17 times for 159 yards.
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 2
HAMILTON 48, Toronto 24 (18461) - With QB Mike Kerrigan at the controls, the Hamilton offence rolled up 523 yards while LB John Motion picked off two Matt Dunigan passes. Kerrigan was 29 of 40 for 383 yards and three TDs.
CALGARY 48, Edmonton 36 (32511) - The two teams combined for a CFL
record 392 yards in penalties. Edmonton QB Tracy Ham threw for 433 yards, but his fumble in the fourth was returned for a TD to clinch the Stamps win.

EDMONTON 51, Calgary 37 (57843) - Henry (Gizmo) Williams tied his
own CFL record with two punt return TDs to lead the Eskimos. His 13 career punt return TDs lead the CFL and he also tied his own season record.

TORONTO 52, Hamilton 25 (36102) - Rocket Ismail scored three first-half TDs to lead the Argos, while WR Darryl Smith passed Terry Greer as the
Argo's all-time leading receiver, with 6,900 yards. Greer had 6,817.
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8
British Col 56, OTTAWA 29 (24171) - Doug Flutie threw for 293 yards, ran for 51 more and keyed a B.C. offence that racked up more than 600 yards and scored a team-record points, erasing the previous mark of 55 set in 1987.
WINNIPEG 49, Saskatch 41 (OT) (28323) - The game featured a total of 1,112 yards in offence, 584 from the Bombers. A 53-yard single from P Bob Cameron and a one-yard plunge from Robert Mimbs provided the margin.

times, the Bombers settled for four FGs from rookie kicker Troy Westwood. Doug Flutie ran in two of the Lions' five TDsf and threw for 343 yards.

CALGARY 33, Toronto 24 (26122) - Argos GM Mike McCarthy wants Dan Wicklum banned for a late hit that sent Rocket Ismail to the hospital with a concussion. Toronto also lost QB Matt Dunigan for up to six weeks.
Edmonton 41, SASKATCHEWAN 36 (24166) - The Esks scored 20 points in the fourth thanks to a strong. Warren Jones threw two  TD passes to Craig Ellis in the fourth after Blake Marshall ran for two TDs in the second.

Saskatchewan 49, BRIT COL 47 (41192) - Kent Austin threw a club-record six TD passes to lead the Roughriders. Austin hit Jeff Fairholm for three TDs. Ray Elgaard had a pair of TDs and Don Narcisse added a 12-yard TD.

WINNIPEG 40, Ottawa 8 (32675) - Managing just 247 yards total offence, the
Riders were beaten in all statistical categories except time of possession, 32 minutes, as the Bombers solidified their hold on second place.
CALGARY 28, Hamilton 17 (21512) - The teams traded FGs until little-used Paul Clatney picked up a fumbled Hamilton punt return and ran 39 yards to score the first TD of the game at 10:30 of the third quarter.

Edmonton 45, BRIT COL 38 (OT) (54108) - In addition to eclipsing the seson record, Doug Flutie came within four yards of the highest one-game CFL total when he passed for 582 in the Lions' loss.

CALGARY 44, Ottawa 24 (18761) - Newcomer Eric Mitchel was the ace in Calgary's win. Mitchell scored on a 26-yard run early, then hauled in a 75-yard Steve Taylor pass for another touchdown.

HAMILTON 42, Saskatchewan 21 (12682) - The Tiger-Cats eliminated the Roughriders from the playoff race. QB Todd Dillon had a hand in four of Hamilton's five touchdowns, scoring twice himself.

WINNIPEG 68, Hamilton 14 (27127) - Robert Mimbs recorded his 10th game rushing over 100 yards, with 124 yards as the Bombers set a team record for points, eclipsing the previous mark of 65 set against Ottawa in 1984.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 20
SASKATCHEWAN 41, Ottawa 28 (19478) - Riders QB Lucious Floyd ran for 113 yards. He ran 25 yards for one TD and grabbed a 20-yard pass for another. Ottawa turned the ball over six times and was sacked five times.
TORONTO 34, Calgary 27 (33590) - Rocket Ismail scored his first pro punt return TD, a 69-yard gallop, in the final two minutes of the game to give the Argos a thrilling win and the Eastern Division title.
Brit Col 39, EDMONTON 38 (OT) (30472) - Doug Flutie drove the Lions downfield and Lui Passaglia kicked a 23-yard single on the final play. The Eskimos never got their offence on the field during the second OT.

Toronto 39, HAMILTON 34 (17453) - Rickey Foggie threw two TD passes and scored another to lead the Argos. With Hamilton leading 31-29, Foggie gave Toronto the win with an eight-yard scoring toss to David Williams.
EDMONTON 24, Calgary 23 (23391) - Tracy Ham threw a three-yard TD pass to a wide-open Michael Soles with 1:42 left to give Edmonton the victory. The Stampeders have not won in Edmonton for 11 years.
Brit Col 36, SASKATCHEWAN 5 (18192) - Doug Flutie passed for two TDs and RB Jon Volpe added two more on the ground as the Lions racked up 308 yards rushing. Poor weather led to six fumbles and four interceptions.

TORONTO 34, Ottawa 31 (36001) - Lance Chomyc's 50-yard FG as time ran out gave Toronto a perfect home season. Chomyc established a new single-season scoring record, finishing with 236 points.
Edmonton 28, WINNIPEG 18 (24240) - Tracy Ham completed 12 of 29 passes for 151 yards and one TD and rushed five times for 52 yards and two TDs as the Eskimos won the West thanks to the Lions' loss on Saturday.

Sun Nov 10 - WINNIPEG (9-9) 26, Ottawa (7-11) 8 (22799) - The Bombers controlled the game from the start, leading 26-1 in the fourth, before the Riders finally dented the end zone. The teams combined for less than 300 yard in offense, and had eight turnovers and seven sacks.
Sun Nov 10 - CALGARY (11-7) 43, British Columbia (11-7) 41 (14026) - Danny Barrett threw five TD passes, three in a 28-point third quarter, as Calgary came from behind. The Stamps buried one ghost when they won their first CFL playoff game in 12 years, but a bigger spectre awaits them in Edmonton where they haven't won a playoff game in two decades.

Sun Nov 17 - TORONTO (13-5) 42, Winnipeg (9-8) 3 (50380) - Winnipeg was outplayed in every phase of the game. The offence could only muster 180 yards and failed to reach the end zone. The special teams allowed the Argos 151 yards on nine punt returns including a 75-yard TD by Rocket Ismail.
Sun Nov 17 - Calgary (12-7) 38, EDMONTON (12-6) 36 (30142) - The Stamps scored 20 points in the fourth to edge the Eskimos. With just 1:02 left in the game and the Stamps trailing by five, PeeWee Smith hauled in a 67-yard Danny Barrett toss and McLoughlin kicked the convert.

TORONTO ARGONAUTS (14-5) 36, CALGARY STAMPEDERS (13-7) 11 - The temperature was -27 degrees Celsius (-17 Fahrenheit), making the game one of the coldest Grey Cup finals ever. The Grey Cup was held in Winnipeg for the first time, as the Argos capped off a memorable season under the new ownership of LA Kings owner Bruce McNall, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and actor John Candy. The Argos started the game with a bang as DB Ed Berry intercepted Danny Barrett’s first pass attempt and returned it 50 yards for a TD. Calgary had 28 first downs compared to Toronto’s seven. The Stamps had 406 yards of offence compared to 174 for the Argos.
