MONTREAL 27, Brit Columbia 20 (19268) - Lawrence Phillips rushed 18 times for 104 yards and three TDs as Montreal won in the rain. It proved an impressive debut for Phillips, who last played pro football outdoors in 1999.

Saskatch 30, OTTAWA 27 (OT) (26898) - Paul McCallum kicked a 54-yard FG in overtime as the Riders spoiled the expansion club's season-opener. McCallum forced overtime with a 37-yard FG on the final play of regulation.
WINNIPEG 39, Toronto 15 (24063) - Khari Jones lead Winnipeg with two TDs a piece to SBs Milt Stegall and Arland Bruce III and threw another TD to WR Antonio Brown. Jones finished completing 19 of 29 passes for 320 yards.
Edmonton 27, CALGARY 21 (33584) - The defending champions rallied from a 24-0 halftime deficit, only to fall to their provincial rivals. The Stampeders made a charge at the end, scoring two touchdowns in the final minutes.

Montreal 28, TORONTO 12 (21175) - Anthony Calvillo cooly picked apart an  Argonauts defence as the Alouettes converted three Toronto turnovers into TDs. Calvillo completed 19 of 28 passes for 241 yards and a TD.

EDMONTON 40, Ottawa 24 (30152) - Despite being sacked seven times, Jason Maas threw for two TDs as the Esks rallied from a 24-6 deficit. Maas threw for 354 yards, including TDs to Scott Robinson and Terry Vaughn.

WINNIPEG 24, Hamilton 15 (25609) - Troy Westwood kicked five FGs and the Bombers took advantage of six Hamilton turnovers, as Paul Osbaldiston had back-to-back punts blocked, QB Danny McManus was intercepted twice.
SASKATCHEWAN 32, Calgary 21 (21968) - Nealon Greene threw three TD passes, two to Derick Armstrong, as the Riders snapped a 10-game winless streak against the Stamps. Armstrong caught TDs of 100 and 23 yards.

MONTREAL 26, Saskatchewan 20 (20002) - S William Loftus recovered a Nealon Greene fumble with 1:32 to go, but lost the ball on a blown fumble call. Montreal ran out the clock to improve to 3-0 for the sixth straight year.
OTTAWA 25, Winnipeg 24 (22436) - QB Dan Crowley found SB Donnie Ashley for an 18-yard TD and Mark Nohra for a two-point convert with 3:49 left as the expansion Renegades rallied for their first-ever win.

HAMILTON 34, Calgary 31 (OT) (17140) - Paul Osbaldiston nailed a 39-yard FG in OT to give the Ticats the win. S Rob Hitchcock set up the win when he broke up Calgary's OT drive with an interception inside the five-yard line.

Montreal 37, CALGARY 20 (32018) - Montreal jumped out to 24-4 lead by intermission. Calgary has now been outscored 86-22 in the first half. Anthony Calvillo completed 23-of-37 passes for 265 yards and three TDs for the Als.
BRITISH COL 51, Hamilton 21 (14218) - Sean Millington tied a team record with four rushing TDs and British Columbia scored 28 points off turnovers in a win that may have temporarily saved coach Steve Buratto's job.

SASKATCHEWAN 45, Edmonton 11 (25149) - Nealon Greene exacted a little revenge against his old team, scoring one passing and one rushing TD against the Eskimos, while Sedrick Shaw ran for 128 yards on 17 carries.

OTTAWA 38, Hamilton 37 (24355) - Danny McManus threw for a season-high 508 yards and three TD passes, but it wasn't enough. Tony Akins caught an eight-yard TD with 1:39 left, but the two-point conversion fell short.
CALGARY 26, Saskatchewan 21 (35597) - It's taken six weeks, but the defending champions have their first win. Calgary used a balanced attack, with three different players scoring TDs, in a rainy affair.

HAMILTON 34, Saskatch 31 (OT) (15369) - Troy Davis scored from one yard out to give Hamilton the win. A 23-yard pass from QB Danny McManus to Archie Amerson set up Davis' run for the Tigercats.
Calgary 23, BRIT COLUMBIA 15 (15117) - Rob Johnson had a break-out game grabbing six passes for 157 yards and one TD to lead Calgary, while QB Marcus Crandell completed 17- of-30 passes for 316 yards and one TD.

EDMONTON 35, Winnipeg 32 (32174) - Eskimos K Sean Fleming's 25-yard FG with 30 seconds remaining capped a wild fourth quarter. The kick came after Ricky Ray hit Terry Vaughn with a game-tying 31-yard TD with 2:04 to go.
BRITISH COL 22, Ottawa 18 (15258) - Matt Kellett kicked five FGs to propel the Lions. It marked a total turnaround for the much-maligned placekicker, who missed all four FG attempts in a July 9 loss to the Toronto Argonauts.

WINNIPEG 51, Calgary 48 (OT) (27876) - Troy Westwood's 29-yard FG lifted the Bombers in a rematch of the Grey Cup, as Winnipeg  rallied from a 17-point deficit on Arland Bruce III's 26-yard TD catch with 24 seconds left.

Toronto 29, HAMILTON 28 (OT) (20216) - Darren Flutie became the most prolific receiver in CFL history, but his Tiger-Cats fell short. Flutie's 967th catch of his 12-year career surpassed Allen Pitts of the Calgary Stampeders.
Montreal 48, EDMONTON 30 (36255) - Anthony Calvillo threw a pair of third-quarter TD passes as the Alouettes won a battle of first-place teams. Calvillo threw for 310 yards, helping Montreal to a slim edge in yardage, 444-443.

Winnipeg 35, CALGARY 20 (30776) - The Bombers clinched a playoff berth and insured that the Stamps will not make a return trip to the Grey Cup, the first time they missed the playoffs in coach Wally Buono's 13 years.
SATURDAY OCTOBER 19
SASKATCHEWAN 13, Brit Col 11 (24957) - For the first time in five seasons, the Riders are headed to the playoffs. The Riders survived a late scare when Damon Allen threw a 12-yard TD toss to Bret Anderson in the final seconds.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 20
Hamilton 29, MONTREAL 26 (20002) - Dana Segin kicked five short FGs in his CFL debut as the Tiger-Cats claimed their first road win of the season. The Alouttes suffered their first home loss of the season.
TORONTO 29, Ottawa 12 (24932) - Although Ottawa had been eliminated from playoffs with Hamilton's win earlier in the day, the Argos still had a lot to play for and Noel Prefontaine kicked six FGs and a single for the win.

EDMONTON 27, Saskatchewan 21 (34101) - Neither snow nor an 18-point deficit were enough to keep the Eskimos from clinching the West, as Ron Williams rushed for two TDs and QB Ricky Ray tossed a 70-yard TD.
SATURDAY OCTOBER 26
Montreal 43, OTTAWA 34 (26411) - The Als beat up on Ottawa, as Don Matthews became the first coach in CFL history to break the 200-career win plateau. QB Anthony Calvillo threw three TDs in the win.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 27
Winnipeg 28, HAMILTON 7 (18839) - Winnipeg's Milt Stegall set a record with his 23rd TD of the season. Hamilton avoided its first home shutout since 1951 when Pete Gonzalez found Andrew Grigg for a 65-yard TD pass late.
CALGARY 16, British Columbia 15 (31698) - After being eliminated from playoff contention last week, the Stamps upset the Lions, a huge blow for the Lions as the best they can now finish is third in the West.

BRIT COL 28, Saskatchewan 3 (25929) - Sean Millington scored two TDs as the Lions clinched third place in the West. Saskatchewan finished fourth in the West, but  will cross over and claim the final playoff spot in the East.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2
WINNIPEG 20, Edmonton 8 (28780) - Winnipeg's Wayne Weathers recovered two fumbles, including one for a TD. Weathers typified a dominant effort by the defense, which held Edmonton to 252 yards and forced four turnovers.
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 3
Ottawa 26, MONTREAL 25 (20002) - Archie Turner had an 85-yard punt return for a TD with 2:10 remaining as the Renegades rallied. Montreal had a 23-10 lead entering the fourth, before Lawrence Tynes kicked three FGs.
TORONTO 33, Calgary 32 (19232) - The Argos rallied from a 29-10 halftime deficit and clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 1999 as Noel Prefontaine kicked a 42-yard FG with 27 seconds left.

Nov 10 - TORONTO (8-10) 24, Saskatchewan (8-10) 14 (23124) - Toronto advanced to the Eastern Division final for the first time in five years as Bashir Levingston sparked a comeback by racing 76 yards with a lateral. Robert Drummond and QB Reggie Slack added touchdown runs for the Argonauts.
Nov 10 - WINNIPEG (12-6) 30, British Columbia (10-8) 3 (22508) - Arland Bruce returned a missed FG 112 yards for a TD and the Blue Bombers never looked back. Bruce's marathon TD gave Winnipeg a 10-0 lead 9:48 into the game. Khari Jones added a TD pass and Charles Roberts ran for one.

DIVISION FINALS
Nov 17 - MONTREAL (13-5) 35, Toronto (9-10) 18 (57125) - The Alouettes advanced to the Grey Cup for the 12th time in their history. Montreal used a pair of defensive TDs to win. Reggie Durden ran back a fumble  27 yards and Dan Derricott brought back an interception 35 yards for a TD.
Nov 17 - EDMONTON (13-5) 33, Winnipeg (13-6) 30 (34322) - John Avery rushed for 144 yards and scored two TDs as the Eskimos advanced to the Grey Cup. Avery's big day on the ground helped Edmonton keep its offense on the field for 36:06 as it jumped out to an 11-0 lead after the first quarter.

MONTREAL ALOUETTES (14-5) 25, EDMONTON ESKIMOS (14-5) 16 - Anthony Calvillo threw two long TD passes, Timothy Strickland broke up a potential tying two-point conversion toss in the final minute and Jeremaine Copeland returned the ensuing onside kickoff 47 yards for his second score of the game for the Alouettes. Moments later, Montreal celebrated the fifth CFL championship in franchise history and the first since 1977. In the interim, the team was renamed the Concordes and folded twice before it was reborn in 1996. The Alouettes never trailed, taking an 8-0 lead in the second quarter on the longest pass play in Grey Cup history, a 99-yard connection from Calvillo to Pat Woodcock. Calvillo's strike to Woodcock broke the Grey Cup record of 90 yards set by Montreal's Sam Etcheverry in 1954 and matched by Hamilton's Bernie Faloney in 1961. It also highlighted a first half dominated by the Alouettes' defense. Calvillo won Most Valuable Player honors after completing 11-of-31 passes for 259 yards and two TDs.
